THE ‘PRESTIGE CLEAR’ WINDOW FILM

Solar-control window film with a clearer appearance

Prestige Clear is a spectrally selective solar-control film designed to balance solar heat rejection with natural light. It is an option for homes, shops and offices where heat build-up is a concern and a subtle appearance matters.

Heat reduction and glare reduction are different

Solar heat can make a room uncomfortable, while glare is bright visible light that makes screens or other tasks difficult to see. A clearer film can help manage solar energy while retaining daylight, but stronger glare reduction may require a darker film. Tell us whether heat, glare or both are your main concern so we can compare suitable options.

Which window film suits my glass?

Suitability depends on your glazing, its orientation and the film specification. We assess these before recommending a product. If winter heat loss is also a priority, explore our Low E window films. For UV protection where solar heat control is less important, compare clear UV film.

Film can help reduce fading, but cannot prevent it completely: visible light, heat and the material itself also play a part. Purchase a sample to compare the appearance, or request a free installation quote for your home or business.

Recent installations with our Prestige Clear film

Absolutely first class! This company was so quick to respond, incredibly efficient and so helpful. Not to mention the guys who came to fit the film, who were so friendly, very respectful and again so helpful. The production itself is far better than I had ever imagined, you wouldn’t know it was there. I could not recommend this company or the production highly enough. Outstanding all round, thank you so much.

Your room’s internal temperature will be significantly reduced, with little effect on light levels. In addition, the film’s virtually colourless, non-reflective appearance maintains aesthetic integrity.
