3M™ All Seasons Amber 35 is an interior-applied Low E window film designed to combine insulating performance with solar control. In colder months, its coating helps limit heat transfer through suitable glazing. When the sun is strong, the film helps reduce incoming solar heat and glare.
It has a distinct amber, reflective appearance and reduces daylight compared with unfilmed glass. If a virtually clear finish is your priority, we can compare it with LuxeShield Gold.

Winter insulation
The Low E layer helps reduce heat loss at the window. The effect depends on the existing glass and the whole building.

3M describes Amber 35 as a film for interior application on flat glass. We assess the pane construction, coatings, orientation and thermal conditions before recommending installation. The visual result changes with the glass and the light on each side.
Performance figures in a manufacturer's bulletin are laboratory measurements on specified glazing. They are not a promise of a particular room temperature or energy bill saving.

Once accepted, we take a 50% deposit, arrange a suitable installation date, then cut the film to size and install it.

Is Amber 35 a clear film?
No. It has an amber, reflective finish and changes the amount of visible light passing through the glass. We can compare samples with clearer alternatives.
Will it work on my double glazing?
Suitability depends on the complete glazing specification. We check the glass and coatings before specifying a film.
Can it reduce heating or cooling costs?
Its measured thermal and solar properties can reduce heat transfer through glass, but building energy use depends on many factors. We do not promise a particular saving.
